Fall Collection 2013

The move to Texas is complete!  We've had our housewarming party, the studio is set-up (post about that later), and my shop has been revamped.

This season I have introduced new designs and new materials.

Here are some of the new scarves in the shop:

This is a super soft, chuncky persimmon scarf.

For a nice pop of color on a gloomy fall day, this orange plaid scarf.

There are very few people that create scarves in this Swiss Dot, but you can have one from Taylor & Landon with a coordinating leather cuff that can be worn on the scarf or your wrist.

If scarves are your thing, I am also introducing these lovelies.  Leather cuffs made from beautiful leathers in several different designs.

A burnt orange thick leather shaped into a bow!

I was able to get my hands on a small amount of ostrich leather.  You can see the unique dots only seen with this material in this buckle cuff.

But don't worry, I'm still creating my signature bow bags. Here's a houndstooth bag with an adorably whimsical chandelier print sash.

Almost Feels Like Home

We are slowly getting moved into our new home in Texas.  I have reopened the shop, but only to clear out my summer items.  Use the code "summer20" to receive 20% everything remaining in the shop.

This fall I am revamping the shop.  I am going to throw in some new products and fabrics.

I couldn't wait to show you a few things I've been working on.  Here are a couple pictures to give you feel for what's in store! (Please excuse the bad lighting and selfy in my unpacked closet)

Reader's Poll for Seamless in Seattle

I've been busy with the move to Texas and really haven't had a chance to blog in the past few weeks.  I have closed the shop for the next month while the family and I get settled.  But I do have some news to report...

Spread the word!! I still have a chance to win a category in the Seattle Magazine's Seamless in Seattle competition.  All you have to do is click the link and scroll down to Accessory Designers category and highlight the circle beside "Emily Hopkins, Taylor & Landon" then hit submit.  You can do from your smart phone and your computer.  Not sure if you can submit everyday, but it doesn't hurt to try. Thank you to everyone that has supported my company in the past year!

New Items in the Shop

Sorry about the lack of posts the past few weeks.  As many of you have heard I am in the process of moving back to Texas.  I have been busy finishing the house remodel and selling our Washington house.

Now that we have an offer on the house I had a couple of minutes to list some new items I've completed for the Seamless in Seattle contest. (sadly I did not win, but soon Seattle Magazine will post a link for readers to vote for their favorites)

Here are the totes and clutches I have added to my shop.

Happenings in the Shop - June 2013

Kids are finally out of school and the official first day of summer is just around the corner.  I thought it might be a good time to briefly show you a few of the things in my shop and what's to come during summer.

My favorite fabrics are bright and cheerful.  I love when you look down at your bag, key fob, or even coaster and you just feel a little happier.

Summertime is when most of us go on vacations with our family.  If you're anything like me you take hundreds of photos.  Why not add personality with a camera strap cover.  My straps are padded on both sides for your comfort and fully lined. I have also added 2 small pockets for your removable lens cap and camera memory cards. The back pocket has velcro to secure your memory card in the strap.
Here are the straps available in my shop.

I love ice tea, margaritas, or cold diet cokes in the summer.  What I don't love is a wet ring left on my furniture.  I make my coasters with semi-hard peltex interfacing sandwiched between 2 layers of absorbent fusible fleece.  That way it absorbs any moisture and keeps it's shape.
Here are the coasters still available in my shop.

Something new I want to add more of to my shop are foldover clutches.  They are perfect to hold in your hand when folded but can hold more than you think when unfolded.  There is a magnetic snap to help the clutch remain folded.

I only have one available in my shop, but there will be more to come very soon!

Check out everything for sale at Taylor & Landon.
